DirecTivo Starts Recording 2 Minutes Early

I searched around but couldn't quite find this issue explained or solved specifically.

I have a Dtivo running 6.2 with all the goodies. It's fully up and networked.

It works great however I have noticed EVERY season pass or wish list program begins recording about 2 minutes early every time. I end up with half hour programs with durations of 32 minutes and hour programs coming up as 1:02. This is annoying as every time a program is back-to-back, it gives me problems about changing the channel because it will begin recording the other program 2 minutes before the other tuner is done. I have everything set to begin and end recording On Time so I can't explain this. The clock is correct, I checked into that already.

Any input or explanation would be greatly appreciated. I am wondering if there is some program running that's doing this automatically and where to change the config if so. I have TivoWebPlus 1.3.0.

Do you have endpadplus or whatever the hack is called installed? I think it is part of the Zipper or rbautch's script. This hack intentionally starts recording early (as many minutes as you specifiy) and stops recording late (as many minutes as you specify) in order to catch all of those shows that don't always start/stop on time. It's a great feature when you need it, but can be annoying is you are trying to watch live TV when 2 shows are to be recorded back to back.
