I am new to this whole thing on hacking my tivo. I have a Hugues Directv Tivo that i have had for over 3 1/2 years. Working in Best Buy i can see how cool the new features in the new Tivos are but the only one that i am really interested in is the Tivo to go. How can i turn this feature on? the Tivo rep showed me that you can even download it to a Playstation PSP and view your programs on it. Totally cool. I also see that behind the Tivo there are USB ports. What would these be used for? I am really dumb when it comes to these things and i just need to know how i can do this.
On another note the rep told me that they are planning to drop the monthly price to around $5 a months just to compete with Direct Tv. If this is the case i will just get a Tivo unit and enjoy the new features. Also Comcast is teaming up with Tivo and they will be offering the tivos for free. According to the Comcast rep. Anyone else here about these things?
