Problem with receiving 1080i signal on Sony KP61xbr300

Hi....I have a Sony KP61xbr300 and it works fine except when I try to view 1080i programming. When I do this the image is completely off with a blue double image. Does anyone have this same problem, and if so can you point me in the right direction to fix it? Thanks so much!

Found another thread on that TV.
Looks like you have to do some menu fiddling to get a 1080i signal into it.

Does your Sony work better with 720p video? If so, just leave your Tivo's output set to 720p.
