It is plugged into a standard landline, NOT a VOIP. And it cannot retrieve a list of local phone numbers.
It will dial and connect but stall at negotiating. If you pick up another phone and listen you can hear it making the usual modem noises but it never connects.
The receive has also been reset to the factory settings. No luck.
It only made one call and that was during activation long ago, haven't had a land line since then.
Any ideas?
