OK, so maybe this is a bug, or maybe it's functionality I don't understand.
I've set up autorecording keyword wishlists for my favorite college teams, and set the categories to Sports/Basketball or Sports/Football and so on. Since I didn't want the myriad of delayed broadcasts, I set the wishlist to "first run" only.
Well, this is not working. If I check to see the upcoming programs, they are listed like they should be, but they aren't selected to be autorecored (the blue star). I then have to select them myself.
There are no conflicts for recording, I checked that. Yes, it's set up to autorecord.
HOWEVER, if I set the wishlist to "first run and repeat," it works better, but still not 100%. Going the next step to "all, including duplicates" works but then I get all sorts of repeats, filling up the disk.
Also odd is that this wasn't an issue a year or more ago. Everything autorecorded just like it should. Then about 18 months ago I noticed that the non-recording.
While I read this board nearly daily and have for years, I don't recall anything like this being brought up. Did I miss something? FYI, I can replicate this on my other DirecTivo as well.
(Don't mind the low post count, I've been a Tivo user since Series 1.)
