Format/Erase Problems on DVD-RW after used on Pioneer

I have a Tivo Pioneer DVR-810H unit, I use DVD-RW discs in it. After I use them in this machine I cannot get them to erase in my Toshiba DVR or either of my 2 computers. I have tried every software program I have, Windows, Sonic & Nero with no success.

I haven't found anyway to erase a disc in the Pioneer without recording more on it at the same time. These discs work just fine in the Pioneer but I need to be able to use them in different machines.

Does anyone know maybe a powerful Format program for a PC that might just get past whatever this problem is?

Sorry, I went to a computer store and asked if I could use their different computers to see if I could erase/format and one did sort of after trying many, don't recall name of computer. To make things worse my Pioneer unit stopped working and they want a flat $200 plus shipping to fix it. So now I'm stuck with over 100 of these DVD's that will only work on a broken unit! :(
