Can the Pioneer DVD/TiVo machine ERASE its RW discs?

In one of the other forums someone's looking for help with RW discs made in their Pioneer TiVo.

He's found the RW discs aren't working in a computer DVD burner, and when it was suggested he erase them in the Pioneer first, he said he doesn't see any way to do that.

There's gotta be a way to erase them.

Got any suggestions for him, you Pioneer TiVo owners? :confused:

When you go to record new content on the disc, it will offer to erase the current content first. There is no way to end up with just an erased disc out of that. If the discs aren't erasing in his computer, I'd suggest trying a different computer.
