Is the Lifetime transfer offer still good?

Can someone tell me if I can still transfer my Series 2 lifetime subscription to my Series 3 unit? I bought the box at the end of December from the store on this site but due to some other issues (like planning my wedding!) have not had time to activate it. I know the Tivo site itself says that if the unit was bought before 1/31 on their site that you have until 3/2 to transfer it. I didn't know if that applied to my purchase here. I hope I didn't screw myself up.

You can still do it until tomorrow (3/2). Tivo agents aren't asking for proof of original purchase date. i just upgraded my second Series 3 box to Lifetime this morning (3/1).

I order mine from Amazon on Tuesday, found it at home when I arrived, and carefully printed out everything I thought I would need.

I called and spoke with a pleasant lady who never asked when I purchased the unit. I didn't even need the code from my unit; when she saw I had two lifetime services (for an S1 and S2), she asked me which one I wanted to transfer. The entire process was very quick and easy.

Now to get it hooked up this weekend...
