Can't tune 2 HD channels (changed behavior)

Should I call Tivo or Time Warner -

We installed a Series 3 Tivo with 2 digital cable cards from Time Warner at the end of January, and it worked fine for about two-three weeks.

Lately, when one channel is displaying an HD channel, the other tuner cannot.

The problem switches between tuners/cable cards -- whichever one is "first" on an HD channel can do it, the other cannot.


Is this likely to be a Tivo hardware problem, or a Time Warner problem?


Also, while investigating the problem last night, the Tivo spontaneously rebooted while my husband was looking at the cable card status options.

Arlie, sounds like you're a North Texas Time Warner Cable subscriber like me. I think I see the same thing sometimes, I just have to be scientific about the channels it happens on.

Can you give me a specific example of channel numbers that you're trying on each of the tuners? I'll try the same thing myself.
