I was just over at Engadget and this had a post about this article:

I effing hate the MPAA and RIAA...
(this really isn't S3 related, and barely Tivo related - Coffee House or Happy Hour would have been far more appropriate)

In reading the bill this statement jumped out to me:
(G) The prohibition contained in subparagraph (A)
12 shall not apply to
.....
(iii) an act of circumvention that is carried out
solely for the purpose of enabling a person to transmit
a work over a home or personal network ..."
