Now if every episode had this much action, it would be a lot better!   Awesome episode!
Loved "Top" telling the little LT what to do. Only annoying part was that they knew they couldn't trust Wallace after he disobyed the order to recall the Hummer. Yet, they kept trusting him over and over again. I knew he would do something with the prisoners...
Also kudos for no Desperate Army Housewives" plot this week! Didn't even notice that part was missing until halfway through the episode.

Enjoyed this one, too, and it really exercised my subwoofer!
But the ending was a bit strange to me. I would have liked more of an explanation how the "one man" was so important. But maybe even The Unit didn't know.

very good episode. No artificial drama on the home front, and great action with the team.
I know they already did an episode about Brown trying out for the unit, but I'd enjoy it if they did another selection episode.

The point was that the unit didn't know his value ... I was wondering if they were going to go the route of many episodes ago and realize that the higher ups really had no plan or purpose, and they abort the mission ...
I *did* get the impression that the tribe leader had a little bit too much in the 'let us go' speech to be 100% innocent.

What I want to know is why did they use their real names? Now those other soldiers know that they are not just paper pushers and are part of a special forces unit.

That's why this episode was so good.

Funny. I found this episode less interesting than usual.

Didn't miss the wives!! I swear we were at 50 minutes in when we realized we wouldn't see the wives this week.... I love it!

Very good episode; though somewhat unsatisfying not getting to see Wallace court-martialed there at the end. :)

Ditto that. No matter what, his actions would have resulted in some kind of military punishment. Court Martial would have been quite satisfying to see!
Although, I kept saying to my husband that he would never have gotten to that rank without getting busted down a peg or two. He would have cleaned up his act or been booted from the Army already. Being an Army vet, I know even the administrative platoons don't play around with people like that. I've seen people booted from the Army for a lot less!

oddly---I've seen people retained in the army that are lot worse.
anyway; this was a great episode but they really overplayed Wallace's incompetence. Any infantry soldier-especially a platoon sergeant would know what an FPL (final protective line) is and would have at least created some defensive perimeter--no matter how much they were misfits.

While I was in basic training, I got to testify against a Staff Sergeant at a court martial. It was quite intimidating for someone in basic training who is supposed to follow orders of someone higher ranking to testify against someone of that rank. It was similar to "A Few Good Men". It wasn't a judge and jury or regular people. It was a panel of a few high ranking officers asking questions.

Could they handle the truth?

my only peave would be you could see that Wallace was going to turn on the prisoners from a mile away.
