After 8.1.1 everything is working fine. I hope others are having the same success
Same for me I had previously reported drop-outs on digital music channels, audio and video drop outs on 144 (DIY) and 165 (Speed) and spurious drop-outs on Premiums (HBO..etc.)....since the update all channels have been working GREAT!

Same here, and the channel guide seems faster too.

Maybe the recent update just moved the bugs around! I was doing good but after the update I have audio dropouts on the digital music channels and the pixelation issue which I had only seen a couple times before was so bad on CSI (CBS-HD) that it was practically unwatchable. Every 10-15 seconds thoughout the entire show. :(

All is well here. They just need to fix that slow wishlist search and my TiVo will be perfect.

I seem to be having no more partial recordings and video loss on stations.
Looking real good!!! (Knock on wood head)

I was doing fine before the update. Now my recordings have multiple audio dropouts and occasional video pixelation. This was a rare occurance prior to 8.1.1. I'm a Cox Cable user in Northern VA using Scientific Atlanta cablecards.

Fine before the update, fine after.

No new problems, just the usual (and irritatingly) slow searches.
Can't wait for the next update, hopefully with MRV, TiVoToGo, and eSATA enabled.

Right after 8.1 installed (well, the day after anyway) I had one spontaneous reboot. Other than that I have no more problems than I did with 8.0x. Of course I don't have any fewer either, so I don't think I was having any of the problems 8.1 fixed.

I also get pixelation now. Weird. I'll have to monitor it, not sure if it's my 750GB drive.

I hate (yes I feel *that* strongly about it) the day after bug or whatever it's called.
When I go to the guide, and do a ssearch using the day/time guide - then I hit enter and it's the day *after* the day I want. Uggh

After 8.1.1 seems to be overall more stable.
Fixed the reboot loop issue I was having.
Some issues I and others still have...
- I now get an occasional HDMI error. Easily fixed by switching to another input on my TV and back.
- Search by Title still slow (I know Tivo is aware of this).
- I still get frequent audio dropouts and pixelation as others have (not sure if this is a Tivo issue or what).
Those are the main issues I have.

The only issues I seem to be having (like some others) is slow population of the Now Playing list and also slow Search by Title.
I have seen one pixelation issue during a recording of L&O:CI but I'm not sure if that was because it was recorded before the update.
Duplicate Channels and repeated reboots seem to have gone.
Just waiting for TiVo to flip the switch so I watch Cnet on my S3.
Once TTG comes to the S3 I can finally ditch my last S2.

Everything's working well here, and in fact better than before. At first, it seemed like it solved some pixelation issues with certain channels, but it's appearing now like it's Comcast that finally cleaned up its act (along with a handful of HD signals). I would have put up and antenna, but that wouldn't have solved a messy Showtime HD.

I still am experiencing the super annoying random skipping around that occurs during rewind and fast-forward on FIOS. Tivo said they would fix this in this version. Um, not so much. I think it's time to request some money back on my prepaid 3-year subscription fee.

Where'd they say this? The last I heard from them post-8.1.1 was that they were working with those that were having the problem to see if they could do anything.

Just waiting for TiVo to flip the switch so I watch Cnet on my S3.You can now, by scheduling it from the TiVo Central Online web page. You just can't turn it off, since you can only do that from your TiVo, and the menu is not there yet on the S3.
