video and audio freeze

when watching a recorded show my video and audio stops and starts for a second of so.

Me too, still can't figure it out I have tried almost everything without luck. I will try a signal booster next to see if the stronger signal works. I have a series 2 and the cable company is claiming I have a weak signal because I'm at the end of the feed line.

I don't think it has to do with the signal. More inclined to think it has something to do with the harddrive. Hopefully my lifetime subscription would still be in effect with a repair?
