If you limit Tivo to 5 recordings per show? Are they the most recent?

When you tell Tivo to record first run only and limit to only 5 shows. Does it just stop once 5 new shows are recorded? Or will it keep the 5 most current shows?

Depends on you Keep Until setting....if you Keep Until Space is needed it will keep the most current 5...as a new one is recorded the oldest will be deleted. IF you Keep Until I Delete then it will stop recording when it reaches 5 episodes...no further eps will be recorded until you delete one.

my kids season passes are all set for 5 shows, and the oldest ones drop off as there are new episodes broadcast. They have repeats and first run set and usually do not set a show for keep until delete.
