So, in my To Do list, I have entries for: Ninja Warrior, Dirty Jobs and Family Guy. They are individual entries, not Season Passes or Suggestions (which I have turned off). There are probably 15 entries in total, spanning the next two weeks.

My wife, who likes but wouldn't record Dirty Jobs, swears she didn't do it, and the fact that they are all individual entries (and 'cause shes my wife) makes me believe her. Any thoughts on where these might have come from? Is this some sort of crud left over from the 8.1 upgrade?

Thanks for any suggestions,

Nate

This sounds like the CNet Guru guide programs. Looking at the list it's giving me on tivo's website, it's Ninja Warrior, Dirty Jobs, Good Eats, Family Guy, and Sunrise Earth. If you don't want these, pretty sure you can cancel from either the season pass manager, or from tivo's website.

So, not "crud left over from the 8.1 upgrade," but crud created by the 8.1 upgrade :)

Good call! I don't know how I signed up for it (although I'm guessing it was while playing with TiVoCast), but that was it. Thanks!

Thanks!NateFor the time being, the only way to discontinue receiving these broadcasts (assuming you have a Season Pass setup) is to disable all video downloads in manage your account > DVR preferences. We will eventually be able to manage this from the TiVo the same way we can with the S2. It's just not set up yet.
