Tivo switching channels after 30 min.

Just bought a HD television and have a HD cable box hooked up to it, along with Tivo. But when I tried record a program on the TNT channel, it recorded for 30 minutes and then stopped recording and changed to channel 10. It did this twice, even though there was nothing on channel 10 that I asked it to change to. Any advise?

What do you mean "it stopped recording, then changed to channel 10?"

When watching the recording did you see it change the channel, and then the recording continued on channel 10? (in which case it didn't in fact stop recording)

Or did the recording in Now Playing end early (in which case, how o you know it switched to channel 10?)

Are you sure that the TiVo changed the channel? Or was it the cable box that changed its own channel.
