Integrating Tivo Desktop with Media Center

Is there any graceful way to integrate Vista's Media Center with Tivo Desktop 2.3?

I like the Automatic Transfers from my Tivo to my desktop, but if I play them from the Tivo Desktop app they open in Windows Media Player.

The only way I can see to sort of integrate them with my Windows Media Center is to have the MCE watch the folder where the Tivo Desktop is saving things, but then I can only browse them in MCE as blobs with kludgy filenames.

I feel like I must be missing something here.

Is there any graceful way to integrate Vista's Media Center with Tivo Desktop 2.3?.
The Viiv plugin for TiVo desktop will do it if your PC is Viiv compliant. It leaves us AMD processor folk out in the cold, but hopefully that will change.
