Using TiVo in another room

Ok so I am thinking about putting another TV in the house, but trying to find a work around from buying another TiVo unit to transfer programs from the main unit. So far I have the TiVo (living room) connect on our home wireless network to download program guides (no home phone). If I purchased a X-Box 360 or PS3 and ran those through my network, would it be possible to do this or am I stuck with buying another TiVo unit and paying another monthly fee to enjoy my great TiVo programming on another TV :)

BTW, Xbox 360 will not play MPEG-2 video (aka freed Tivo files).

But a modded Xbox 1 will.
