Thanks to cherry ghost for the heads up...

Apparently, it's not only football that causes headaches for "The Amazing Race" in its Sunday 8 PM time slot. There's a golf event that is, as of this writing, running over... so "60 Minutes" hasn't started yet.

I had padding built into my ARWL for TAR, so I'm OK, but this is a heads up...especially if you can still catch this.

Presumably, it'd only apply to those in the Eastern or Central time zones.

I think this thing is in a multiple hole playoff, so I don't know if this will be a problem every week...but heads up! I know some folks have Season Pass Alerts set to E-Mail...

I happened to catch this before it became a problem - good thing I checked, as it also necessitated a reschedule of Desperate Housewives in the bedroom!

I wasn't at home, and didn't know this was going to be needed anyway.

GOLF? I freaking missed the end of TAR for freaking GOLF? :mad:

OK, I accept that people find football interesting for whatever reason, but GOLF? Seriously?

How does GOLF run long? Luckily, I checked on the show about 15 minutes in and realized something ran long... so I just added a HOUR of padding. I beginning to think CBS does this on purpose... how often did TAR start on time last fall?

Thank goodness I had CBS West from a waiver 7 years ago. That saved my butt.

I'm hesitant to watch anything Sundays on CBS for this very reason. I don't know why they can't just have a padder run from 7 to 8 (a la The OT on Fox) and start everything normally after that.
