View Full Version : Desktop Plus Error - Invalid Advise Flag

Been having a time with an error message "Invalid Advise Flag" I get when trying to transfer files to my Treo and/or Ipod.
I know you cannot transfer existing files on your PC, only newly recorded ones that have not been transferred from the Tivo box to the computer.

The tranfer starts, then I get the error message but it does make a zero byte file in the folder named My Tivo Recordings For Portables.

I have search both here on this forum and on the Tivo Forums and have not had much luck finding any solution. I know there is an answer, and I am sure it is a simple one.

that happened today for me after I forgot to re-apply my Plus upgrade Key after a re-install
