I am trying to setup my Humax Tivo to be used without a cable box - just a RF in. Is this possible? Does the Tivo have a tuner?

I don't see any way in the setup to accomplish this.

Thanks,

Mike

Works for the first 99 analog channels, I can't see what your problem is unless you told the TiVo you had a cable box. If you did TiVo would not be looking for a signal on the RF input.

Yes, the TiVo has an analog TV tuner that'll work with both OverTheAir and cable.

However, perhaps you mean the RF output as well, and this unit can not be connected that way. You MUST use either S-Video, Component (RGB) or Composite (Red, White, Yellow) on the DRT-800's outputs to connect to your TV. Older Series 2 units still allowed the use of the RF output. The Humax units (Series 2.5?) do not.

Perhaps your dilemma is your TV has only the RF input? If so, time to run to RadioShack or similar and get an adapter.
