I have a wireless network set up & I can access my stored shows (on desktop cpu) from my laptop anywhere else in the house. The only problem is that when I pull the shows up in WMP, i get sound, but no video! I already checked for the "show video" option, but that doesn't come up on the menu like it does on my desktop cpu when the show is playing...HELP!!

I think you need the Tivo desktop software loaded on your laptop. That way it allows WMP to decipher the .tivo video.

good call, i didn't think of that....but since it's already been transferred & I can play it in WMP on the desktop, should that part already have been done?? hmmm, I'll try that anyway though, thanks

No, the machine on which you're playing the .tivo file needs to have Tivo's DirectShow filter installed. That comes with Tivo Desktop.
