I forgot to add -x to my restore and sent a drive to a friend in New York. It is a 320GB drive that says 37 hours. Is there a utility he can use on the tivo to expand the drive. He has another hacked drive from me (so he can mount the other drive as a second to do commands, if there is a mips based utility), but not a PC. He does not have a USB drive enclosure. Is there any utility that will run on a tivo to expand the recording time. Has the author of MFS_Tools compiled it to run on mips architecture?

This is going to save him alot in shipping
Thank you
Chris

haven't done this myself, but there's an mfsadd binary in /tvbin that comes with the tivo... I know it is used to add secondary drives, but I believe it can also add space to the current drive.
