Hello,
I have spent a many hours looking for an answer to this problem. I have just purchased a super patched Directivo. I have set up tivoserver on a mac and a pc on my network. I can see both machines on the tivo. I line up about five show to transfer to the tivo over night. Four show were .avi file and they show up and work fine. The last show was a ..MV44 file. I was not sure if it supported the .MV4 file type.
I did not get any error on the tivoserver. Now when I try to move a new .avi or any file to the tivo is states it will start the transfer once the current files is done. Is there a way to reset the transfer the tivo is trying to receive. I do not have a file in the now showing with the record icon on. I have restarted the tivo a number of times. Both with a soft reboot and a hard (pull the power cord) reboot.
