Ok....I didn't think it's possible...but....
I have a S2DT. I just had my TV on American Idol (background noise....really.....) while the other tuner is recording Lost. A minute or so before CSI:NY starts I get the 'Do You want to Switch' screen, and I click OK. I go off to do some dishes, and then I realize...it's 10:10 and American Idol is still on! I hit Info and the other Tuner says it's recording Lost. I go to check the Recording History to see if I accidently hit Cancel, and it shows Lost and CSI:NY recording! When I check the recording, it's been recording since the beginning! Meaning, it was recording Lost AND CSI:NY while SHOWING American Idol!
Has ANYONE ever experienced this? It won't go back now, it will only show Lost and CSI:NY.
How is that possible? It only has two tuners!
All I can think of right now is that little girl from Poltergeist going "They're heeere..."

You were watching American Idol from the buffer. That's why it was still showing at 10:10. It ended at 10:00, honest.

You'll still get the "Change the channel" overlay at 10:00 even though AI is running many minutes behind. Once the buffer plays out you won't be able to get AI back (unless you were also recording it, but it sounds like you weren't).

FWIW, a single tuner TiVo works the same way - it would still "show" a delayed American Idol while it was recording something else that started at 10:00.
