I currently have 2 TiVos hooked up to one TV until I can buy another TV. I use one S3 remote with switch 1 set to control a S2 and switch 2 set to control a S3.
I've noticed lately that if I've left the S2 at the Now Playing screen and switch over to use the S3 and use it for a while (around 1/2 hour or more) and then switch back to the S2, the S2 is still at the Now Playing screen instead of timing out to Live TV.
I do know that the S2 will time out if I don't press any remote buttons (though I've had it once fail to timeout and the GUI lock up when left in the Now Playing screen).
I know that the S2 listens to the remote since it's light flashes when the button is pressed even though it doesn't do anything. My question is does using the remote with the S3 keep the S2 from timing out even though the S2 is not using that remote code and if so is this by design or a bug?
