View Full Version : Installed IC on my TCD24004A

I just installed InstantCake on my TCD24004A. It is currently running 7.2 with no modifications or hacks. The two main issues I am having are: 1) when I go to Settings -> Channels, the box reboots as soon as I click on the channels link. It comes back to the "please wait" screen and completes booting, however, even after the reboot I still can't get into channels and if I try it reboots again. 2) it cannot find a live video signal and after a few seconds gives me the green screen with the troubleshooting steps. The coax is live and plugged into the 'in' jack.

I do not know if it matters, but I have not yet activated my subscription and wanted to test to make sure the box is working before I activate it.
Any direction you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Of course. I posted @ the IC site with no response yet. There are a few recent complaints concerning the fact that no one is answering posts. i.e. "Since no one else seems to want to answer- I'll take a guess!"

Did you do a Clear and Delete Everything and re-run Guided Setup?
