TivoTransfer leaks

While running tivo transfer, I noticed that the memory usage for it constantly grows. The growth is about 4k per second, while transferring.

As an experiment, I rebooted, and set up to transfer one 15 minute show.

Using TaskManager, I watched the Memory Usage of tivotransfer.exe.

It started at about 5000k. every refresh of taskmanager had the memory usage increase by about 4k. By the end of downloading the 15 minute show, the memory usage was 7244k. So I set up to transfer the next show. When it was done with that, usage was 9240.

I am running TivoDesktop 2.3a (plus).

Anyone else notice memory growth with their transfers?

Yup. All my TiVo stuff is currently at 291,011K of which Transfer is 177,512K. It is very annoying.

Is this something that the good folks at tivo have acknowledged?

I saw some threads about 2.4, perhaps that will refine the process. Any word when that is due out?
