I'm losing my mind. Is the live TV buffer only 30 minutes? I thought it had always been 1 hr., but this a.m. I noticed it was only 30 minutes. Guess it had never been an issue before. (Embarrassingly, I've had my 7 Tivos since the beginning of time.)
On a side note, did anyone hear the announcement on CNN this morning that later this year Tivo and Amazon were partnering to offer "Amazon Unblocked". It sounds like they will offer movies and shows that download directly to a Tivo for a low fee, with no other hardware or interface required.
For my techical guru friends on this board -- do you think those movies could then be transferred wirelessly among currently wirelessly connected Tivos?

Sounds like Multi-Room Viewing will not be supported, but purchased content can be downloaded separately to up to two DVRs or PCs and two portable devices.

Thanks for the quick answer.
Here's some more info I found, which supports your answer about downloading to two Tivos, two PCs, or one of each.
How the service will work: TiVo users will go to Amazon.com to sign up and designate where they want movies and TV shows they buy to be sent. Unbox will send purchases to two TiVos, two Windows PCs or one of each. The PC then can load the video on up to two portable devices using Windows copy protection (no iPods). Buyers can burn DVD copies for backup, but they won't play in a DVD player. The Unbox service also keeps a record of purchases and will send backup copies if needed.
Macintosh users won't be able to put Unbox films on their Mac, but can download them to their TiVos.
It will take about an hour to download a typical movie with high-speed Internet service.
Movie rentals will start at $1.99. No extra hardware purchases are required, and there will be no additional subscription fees, the companies said.
By the way, the real name is Amazon Unbox, not Amazon Unblocked. Oops! Bad memory, good intentions.

Then it's official. Thanks for helping me. Can you tell how infrequently I watch live TV?
