Anyone else find this to be underwhelming? I tried, I really did, because I like Warburton & Spade. However, I found Warburton to be the only purveyor of humor in the show, so I had to cancel the SP in sorrow.

Boring with a capital B.

I thought it was OK. At least good enough to get me to watch a few more time. It was the pilot after all.

I love Warburton, his deadpan delivery and "earnestness" slay me. I do have the strange need to go hang gliding though after seeing him.*

*I guess in a time he needed money, he performed for one of Disney's rides, Soarin', as the the guy that gives the pre-show.

Warburton and his wife were the only redeeming quality and though this show will not last hopefully they will get cast on something else together because they also have chemistry. I just have never been a big fan of Oliver Hudson or David Spade.

The show was eerily similar to 'Til Death but not as good. Not that 'til death is great, but it least it has some fun ideas like the fight buddy and toaster episode. Patrick Warburton's face looks really thin compared to what I remember. Maybe it's the haircut.

I guess in a time he needed money, he performed for one of Disney's rides, Soarin', as the the guy that gives the pre-show.There is no shame in working for Disney in this capacity. They have gotten some very well known actors to play parts in videos that are part of a ride's preshow or are integral to the ride experience. Robin Williams and Walter Cronkite did it for the animation exhibit at MGM in Orlando.

Worst thing that happens is MILLIONS of people see you every year which makes you more recognizable to them in you movie and tv roles. I say it is good work if you can get it.

All the best lines you already saw over and over in the promos, so there wasn't much left to laugh at.

Well, I'm going with the "It WAS only the pilot, let's hope it develops" line. Of course, knowing television these days, and not being a David Spade fan, I can see this tanking pretty quickly. Was there a laugh track? I couldn't tell over all the laughing

I agree with mwhip, Putty and Price could possibly save this show with their chemistry and her unbuttoned shirts (OK, her shirt certainly won't save the show, but at least their characters were somewhat believable).

I'll give it 2 more episodes, by then it will either start getting good and be pulled or keep on the train wreck path and last for 3 or more years, but I won't be watching.

I said the same thing, it is Til Death but the eye candy is not on the same level, as much as I like the wife from Grounded for Life she is not the wife in Til Death, which looks fantastic in HD.

Did Megyn Price look way different to anybody else? Or else there's some other actress that I'm confusing her with.. but I don't think so. I didn't watch Grounded for Life regularly, but because of her appearance on that, I'm pretty darn sure that I'm not confusing her with someone else.

(Wow, checking imdb, Grounded for Life lasted way longer than I thought it did.)

The only "look-alike" thing that crosses my mind is Trina from Rodney - but different enough that I don't think that's it.
