View Full Version : Online scheduling only for Series 2?

I know I have scheduled recordings online on my S3 before. I just wanted to program a show and I was told by the TiVo web site:
We're sorry, online scheduling is only available for TiVo Series2™ DVRs.
I have checked and double checked that the right DVR is selected, mainly because my S1 doesn't receive channel 709 :)
Wassup with this?

Double check the service numbers.
Many have reported TiVo swapping the TiVo's when transferring lifetime.
When you find out they did, you'll want to rename them.
You can't do it at once.
You'll have to rename one of them to a bogus name, save,
then rename the other one to it's rightful name, save,
then rename the original one from the bogus name to it's rightful name, save.
Mine were swapped, but since it was a Series2 I transferred from, it let me online schedule both of them.

If phox's reply doesn't solve your problem, then make sure you're not trying to schedule TivoCast content. TivoCast is not yet enabled for the S3.
