Tivo Desktop Audio Hiss

I have Tivo Desktop but it seems everything I record comes over to my desktop with a really bad audio hiss in the background. I did some searching but haven't seemed to dig anything up yet. Is this just the way it is?

Anyone else have this issue? All of the audio on my recorded programs is horrible when transfered and played from the computer. Replay on the tivo itself is of course perfect?
