View Full Version : No E-mail Confirmation (Tivo, please help!)

Hello!

About a year ago, I stopped receiving e-mail confirmations from my Tivo indicating it received my initial recording request. At that particular time, someone working for Tivo who monitored communication on this board graciously stepped forward (I think his name was Greg?) and asked for my service number, etc and finally fixed the problem. Well, I'm encountering the same thing again with my Humax. Can someone from Tivo please help me? Also, with the exception of the Super Bowl ads, I never receive product information, or commercials, when I check the appropriate items on the Product Watch interface. Is this feature still active?

I've had the same problem with email confirmation. However, all the other stuff works fine for me...

Same problem here. I'm assuming it's yet another glitch caused by one of their software updates (their fall 06 update caused a problem with TiVoToGo transfers to PCs and that still hasn't been corrected). Maybe TiVo should concentrate on getting their current services to work correctly before inking deals with Amazon, Rhapsody, etc...

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but is anyone else having this problem right now? I got emails that the programming requests were received, but nothing about whether or not the requests were successful. I used to get confirmations that the programs were scheduled. It's been several hours since I made the request, and nothing. My machines are all online - no dialups.

I'm having the same problem. I got the first email, but not the second. The show I scheduled did record fine, however.

exact same problem here. thought it was because i recently moved and switched from dsl internet to cable, but it sounds like from this thread it's a tivo-side issue.

Yep, I have the same issue.

Hope there's a fix soon.

In the middle of the night I got all my email confirmations all at once.

So, hopefully it is fixed.
