HD Tivo Problems

Last night I noticed a problem with my HD Tivo. This is the first time I have encountered this issue. I recorded an hour long program, but for some reason the entire program was compacted into about 17 minutes. :eek: While I was watching the recorded program, it was skipping erratically from scene to scene and those same little squares that show up when you have defective DVD in your DVD player were appearing on my tv screen. :confused: This recording flows from a season pass I set up for the show Heroes. I have recorded other Heroes episodes through this season pass with no issues, and I haven't modified the season pass since I first set it up.

Anyone know what the problem is or what I need to do to prevent it from happening again? Thanks in advance for your help.

Is this an OTA channel?

Well, either way, it's probably a signal that's too weak for tivo to receive it well. Turn your antenna or ask the cable company to boost your signal.

You seem confused that you get pixellation on tivo like on a bad DVD, but in both cases, you have a bad digital video feed.
