Finally a payoff after so many episodes of more-absurd-than-usual storylines.
Delko's dead.

They set it up as if Alex was going to be the one. But, it was too early in the show. I was expecting the car to blow up when they popped the trunk looking for the hostage. Which bring up the question, is the hostage also dead?
I wonder if they will wimp out next week and just capture Cruz or will H put a bullet in his head?

What? No one has further comments on this episode?
I'm wondering who will be added to the cast to replace Delko?

I knew from looking at the guide descriptions that someone was going to get capped, but I was surprised that it was Delko. I figured that it was going to be Natalie, whose character is much less interesting now that annoying ex-hubby is out of the picture.

I'm thinking, what guy in his right mind would want to join that unit, with two of its guys shot dead and another one surviving a bolt in the eye?
Have any of the women suffered a serious physical injury? (Marisol doesn't count -- she didn't work there.)

One had an ex boyfriend hold a gun to her head and pull the hammer back.
(forum doesn't allow the work ****-kock)
Same ex boyfriend then offed himself in front of her.
Two were "this close" to being convicted of killing one of thier ex husbands.
No serious physical injury, but plenty of mental anguish.

Yeah, the guys suffer physical traumas, the women mostly emotional traumas. But we knew this show is all about the cliches. :D

What? No one wishing that it had been "H"?

That's a given.
No need to waste breath saying it out loud. (or waste calories typing it)

I think it'd be more painful for him if someone stepped on his sunglasses. Intentionally.

I actually suffered through this. Kinda sad to see Delko buy it--especially in the way it happened.
But, being an avid mocker of the show, I think I realized something last night--are they actually playing up their cheesiness? Last night's ep actually reminded me a lot of Sin City (without the excessive violence). The show has always been over the top, but they've introduced that comic book style framing (multiple shots on the screen at once), the characters and coloring have gotten really comic book-y, the direction is very comic book like, etc.
When I regularly watched the first season or two, it just seemed like the show didn't realize how corny it often was. Now, though, they seem to be purposely cranking it up a notch.

Oooh, ooooh, ooooh, I caught something. When they were looking in the manhole there was some kind of reflection from the camera, or someone was moving something in the manhole cover. That, or I was high.

I never saw that. Too bad I already deleted it.
