Flashing strobing flickering picture....Any ideas?

I am experiencing a flashing/strobing effect only when bright red, yellow or orange colors are on the screen. I have also noticed that the Tivo image is faded compared to the regular TV image. I have tested my TV by bypassing Tivo and connecting directly to the TV and the picture is fine. I recently purchased the Tivo wireless adapter, and I THINK (not sure) the problems started then. However, when I unplug the wireless, the strobing/flickering/flashing continues.

I have a Series 2 Humax Tivo that is just over 1 year old...

Any help with this would be great! :confused:

When is this strobing thing happening? When watching Live TV, recordings, or all the time? When you rewind, does it strobe in the same way or is it always random?

It happens all the time with live TV..... and will record as is, with the strobing/flickering.

If the flickering is being recorded, and it's the same every time you play it back, then it could be a grounding problem with your cable. If possible, try a different input cable to the tivo and see if that helps. If not, you may have a bad receiver in the tivo.
