View Full Version : Weirdness with Season Passes?

For the second time now, I've encountered this weirdness with a Season Pass:

1) Look up future showing
2) See a new episode is coming up
3) Note the checkbox isn't set next to it, and it says that it will not be recorded because of action by the user (?!?!?)
4) Set a manual recording for the episode.

Note I haven't done anything to the season pass - I never told it not to record it, and if I had just left the machine alone it apparently wouldn't have bothered to record the show.

The latest example of this is I have a SP set up for 24, but until I set a manual recording it wasn't going to bother to record next Monday's (Feb 12) two hour episode.

Anyone else see this behavior?

24 is a two hour episode on the 12th?!? Sweet!

By any chance did you just undergo a channel lineup change?

I discovered something similar this weekend with my season passes and discovered that even though the TiVo updated the channel lineup correctly in the guide it still had old channel data (invisible btw) in the season passes. I had to delete and re-enter all my season passes.

BTW, I only needed to do this for passes set to record "first run only". "Repeats and first run" still recorded fine.

Lineups haven't changed, and even stranger, it's not all future showings for the SP, it's just certain ones.
