Comcast SD on S3 vs D* SD on HR10

I do. I switched and cablecard SD in my area (SF, CA) is pretty bad.

Digital SD, or Analog SD?

I would say that Comcast Digital SD is better than DirecTV SD
I would say that Comcast Analog SD is inferior to DirecTV SD

I would agree that analog SD is bad. Using the S3 w/ cablecards, there's no way to view analog and digital cable channels correct? I thought I could only see digital.

Is there a way to see analog cable on the S3? How would I do a compare on the S3?

I have both. Here analog and SD digital Comast is better than SD from DirectV. Directv is way over compressed. I can easily see it on an old 32" analog set. another reason I dropped most of the DirectV programing. I was only using Sd for a backup fom the HD shows but I've only had to use it once in the last six months and that was my fault.
