Maybe you guys can help me out with this.
I've been trying to transfer a TV program from my TiVo to my PC for a long time now. I've tried it on new computers that I've bought (including a new one I just bought) and it never ever seems to finish transferring. What happens is that I'll start the transfer, it'll transfer about 25-50% of the program and then start over from the very beginning with no warning. As such, I've never transferred a complete program.
Here are my specs:
TiVo Series 2 box
Dell Computer (160 gb of disk space, 1 gig of memory)
Running Windows XP SP2
TiVo To Go software 2.3a
TiVo Firmware version: 8.1
3Com Wireless router
Linksys Wireless USB Network adapter. 802.11b (i know, it's old)
So you know, music and photos publish just fine. I've never had a single problem with either of those, it's just the TV shows. I've rebooted several times to see what the deal is, and nothing. Before I start calling TiVo on this I wanted to ask here. Any suggestions?
