I just replaced my upgraded series 2 Directivo with 2 new hard drives. I followed the Hinsdale instructions, but did not test my new image. My old drives were dying and I was getting a lot of freezing and rebooting.

Now that I put everything back together it started booting and I got the green screen with SEVER ERROR - wait 3 hours while it fixes itself. :eek: Should I wait the three hours or am I better off just starting again? I have another DirecTivo that I could get an image from.

Wait the three hours.
If it does not fix itself, then re-image.

It doesn't always take three hours.

and sometimes it takes significantly longer.
