Need help on this, did the upgrade from the store and replaced my 250GB drive on the Tivo Series-3 with a 750GB drive. Everything went clean, but now on the new 750GB drive, I cannot view TV. All the channels only show a grey screen with no Digital Signal.

If I put the original 250GB drive back into the unit, the channels are back. Did I miss a step?

Thanks

You may need to call your Cable provider, Some others have reported that when changing out hard drives the S3 HostIDs change and some cable providers head ends need to be re-provisioned. If your lucky, you may get them to do it over the phone.

Jeff

P.S. To the suppliers of upgrade drive kits, you really should prominently include this information with your instructions.

Thats why I copied my drives after the CC were installed. I didn't want any of the info to change a require another visit by a tech just to get a hold of the right person at the headend to correct the problem. Hopefully you can get it straigneed out with a visit, but with Comcast here, a tech visit was the only way for me to get the info to the proper person at the head end that knew what they were doing.
