I saw that CBS has issued the official green light for Big Brother 8 - this summer.

Yay!! I liked All Stars, but it will be good to get back to unknown people in the house, and to get to know them as the show progresses.

so excited for this! Such a great summer show. I agree that it'll be nice to 'get to know' a new group of people.

Ugh! If Romber or Booger got in, I would have to skip it. Yuck! :0( Definitely looking forward to new people. Just hoping that it's a wider variety of people than they've had for the past couple seasons (age, size, etc). It's been too much of a frat party lately.

oooh, I know what they should do. They should get down to the finalists for both Big Brother and for Survivor, then they should SWITCH the shows i.e. the people who think they are going on Survivor get tossed into the BB house, and the people who think they are going on BB get sent to the island. They would have to sync up the starts of the shows to get this to work.

Oh God no! No more fame whores who are there to try to entertain us. Give me a bunch of unknowns who want to play the game and aren't there to get out and immediately hire agents to further their acting careers.

Big Brother actually is a pretty big win for CBS. It's cheap and it does pretty well in the ratings (may taper off if someone popular gets kicked out) - compared to other things that show up at that time of year.

I say you put Julie Chen in the house and get a new host.

I'm definately gonna miss Will. I wish Will could be the new host of House Calls or something. Will and Janelle together hosting house calls. I think that would be fun.

They really need to boost the prize money though. For as many episodes of primetime television they get out of it, 500k for the winner is a major rip-off.

At the very end of that Will tells Boogie that they are both going to be on "The Amazing Race". That would be something to see... I may re-up my Season Pass. :D

does this show not make as much as survivor? I wish it was on more often.
