Two TiVos

I've seen several people here have more than one TiVo, and I'm thinking of getting a second one while I work out what's wrong with my first one (and hopefully fix it once I've watched all the recordings on it)

Simple question - is it possible to control the two separately if they're next to each other?

My fallback plan is to cover up the remote receiver of one of them, and control that via the Web Remote in TiVoWeb, but that's obviously less than ideal.

Yes, you can control up to 9 TiVos side-by-side by assigning a separate ID to each TiVo and remote :up:

Its actually on Pages 17 and 18 of the Appendix B PDF file on the Tivo UK website at www.tivo.co.uk/AppendixB.pdf, even though they are numbered 103 and 104 due to their order in the original full Tivo owner's manual.

Thanks Mr. Pedant :p;) However, I was (as you pointed out) referring to the Full manual which is on my site as I collated all the seperate sections into one big manual :)
