I've watched it due to the trainwreck factor.

Rob is still a self centered dork and Amber let's him get away with it.

I have no idea what channel this is on, or when, or nor do I care.

I will get more than enough Rob-n-Ambuh on the upcoming "TAR All-Stars", thank you very much.

jeez... there's some major hate happening

People can't help but come into a thread and post about how much they dislike this couple...

amazing indeed...

I'm supremely indifferent to them, but I've heard they annoy some viewers out there. ;)

At least the first Bachelorette couple has faded into the woodwork. They have, haven't they?

Indeed. I'm going to root for them to win the AR All-stars just because of the haters. I can just imagine that little vein on their foreheads throbbing as the migraine starts when Rob & Amber come on-screen. Makes me smile. :)

But to answer the OP, no. What channel is it on?

Oh, no, I don't "hate" them...I just think they're on roughly their 31st minute of fame. :D

I'll actually enjoy watching them on "All-Stars". I just have no interest in the rest of their "media empire".

That one's on Fox Reality.

It's advertised as being about Rob attempting to become a proffesional poker player.

But in reality they spent more time watching Amber look for a place to live, furnish the house and throw a housewarming party, the glimpses of Rob playing poker are usually limited to showing him blow off stuff Amber has asked him to do and ignoring her phone calls.

Exactly. Shows Rob the new apartment, on the deck she has some wine, "very romantic". Rob comes up with, "I think I'm gonna go. I want to play some poker".

Rob's mentor is Daniel Negreanu, so if you're a fan of his, you get to see some mentoring. Not sure how it will play out. If you're interested, you watch, if you're not interested, I don't think there will be anything happening to change your mind.

No hate here, whatsoever. Ambuh is freakin' hot, and Rob cracks me up (or at least, he did on Survivor).

But that doesn't mean I'm going to watch their show. :)

We can always hope they get in an accident and are forced out of the game.

Haw many episodes have run so far? I actually like Rob and Amber but did not really plan on watching... but I really am a fan of Negreanu so that might just tip the balance for me and get me to set a SP.

Wow, some serious hating going on.

I'm watching when new ones show up. Mostly I think it was just an idea for them to make more money on TV. Rob is too much of a wise ass to be really good player and makes what can only be seen as some really rookie mistakes. No, make no mistake, this is just a way for Romber to make a few more bucks off TV. I say if they can get the money, why not?

BTW, plus one for Amber is hot!

After keeping my mouth shut about this for a while, I have to vote a

-1

on the Amber is hot deal. I find Amber average looking at best and definitely not what I would consder Hot. In fact, with the right pooch they could do one of those dog-looks-like-the-owner pictures - not that I'm saying she's a dog (not by any stretch), there's just something about her facial structure that reminds me of some kind of dog.

To each his own, though.

I think his 'experiment' in Vegas had just about run it's course anyway when they were aked to do the Race. He may still pursue a poker career, but it won't be covered by his own (their own) reality show. It would only be back in re-runs, if that.

It's not a problem to dislike them - but where the problem lies, is despite ones dislike, refusing to acknowledge the skills and talents they have in their previous and/or current ventures.

You may not like them, but that doesn't mean they aren't good... That's where/why some people get confused about the "love" professed for R&A. You can't argue with the success that they've had...

I flat out don't like them because of their personalities. They are portrayed exactly the same on every show I've seen them on. Self centered, lie, cheat, and don't care about anyone but themselves. They say this consistantly, specially Rob.

And I'm not a girl but I sure as heck don't see what a babe like Amber sees in Rob. I can't claim to be able to tell if I guy is handsome, but it doesn't surprise me when women say they find guys like Tom Cruise or Johnny Depp attractive. Rob looks kind of round faced and flabby to me. But then again I'm round faced and flabby.

Hey Amber, are you interested?

I better stop now, if my wife finds out I wrote this I'm a dead man.

Rob is good looking enough (he has hair!)...I don't put Amber out of his league...it's easier to charm a girl when you're stranded on an island with her for 39 days ;)

I agree, and have to admit to watching their "other" shows as well.

What you see on the Amazing Race or Survivor is almost a character that Rob slips into. I'm sure that he is very different when the cameras are gone. That is the person that Amber fell in love with and agreed to marry - not the arrogant guy he becomes when they are on camera. That's the Rob that you saw on their wedding special and he snuck in a few times during Against the Odds, too.

Also, for the record, I find Rob to be handsome. He's not the gorgeous guy in the posters that every girl hangs on her wall. He's an everyday good looking kind of guy.

Even I, who can't stand Rob's on-camera personality, have to admit he doesn't seem half bad off-camera (meaning, when he's not trying to be a self centered ass.)

I agree, I think we saw more of the real Rob during AtO than during Survivor or AR. Don't get me wrong, Ambah isn't blameless, she enables him and excuses his actions.

I'll accept that maybe my impression of Rob's looks could be wrong. As I stated earlier, I can't really say if a man is good looking or not very well.

As far as my statement about his personality, all I can go by is what we see. And what I see is as I stated before, not a nice guy, doesn't care about others. However having said that I'll also admit that very often these reality shows "develop" a character out of these people. So to be perfectly fair I guess none of us unless we know Rob personally can really judge his character.

Rob has stated in various video clips that he knows when the camera is on and deliberately hams it up for viewership. The who smirkiness and manipulation is deliberate. Some people hate him and some people love him but few people have no opinion. He knows what makes for TV, the producers know it and thats why he gets more of these gigs.

Do you really think what they show you on TV is what he or any of these reality stars are really like.

Do you really think what they show you on TV is what he or any of these reality stars are really like.

If your referring to me I already stated that I believe they "develop" characters with reality people. I won't call them stars.

However in regard to what Rob says about hamming it up, maybe. I personally wouldn't want to give the impression that Rob gives of himself. I believe that it is based somewhat on their personality, or at least a part of it. In other words I believe when he says "he could care less what these people thinks," that is genuine.

If everyone remembers Jeri from Survivor, when she returned to do ALL STARS she seemed to make sure that she got away from the "evil bitch" type of person she was portrayed as. You would think that Survivor would want to portray her as we remembered her but obviously she made sure they didn't.
