Getting a Dual Tuner Account questions

Hello

I am thinking of getting a DT Tivo and add it to my exisiting account. My account is from the old Tivo era (Tivo user since 2001). Will I have to stay 3 years with Tivo now? All my Tivos are from before the new billing rules. I am looking at the DT Tivo on the Tivo webpage.

Any info will be appreciated.

If you want the lowest monthly price available then yes, I believe you would need to commit to a 3-year plan.

If you get a DT Tivo and don't want or can't get the rebate, you could transfer the service from an existing Tivo to the new DT and pay the same thing you were paying for the old Tivo w/o having to commit to any length of service.

Does anyone know what happens to the rebate after the price changes on the 18th? I know you will be able to get the $12.95 price for just a one year agreement but haven't seen what the rebate (if any) will change to.
