Beauty & The Geek - 1/31/07

I knew that a bull crap question was going to come up for team mario. Of course it is the last question just so the 2 love birds can stay together. Other seasons may of been rigged but not to the extent this year is. Come one halitosis that is a geeky question what crap. So we are left with 2 ringer poser geeks in the final 3 no surprise. If it goes like the other seasons the evil CC will win it all with nate.

I liked the challenges this week very fun to watch I liked the episode till the elimination were again 1 team gets easy questions the other gets hosed. No chance nate is remotely a geek any guy who can hook up with a chick hot as jenny lee has no problems with the ladys.

I really don't like any of the geeks left but the least offensive to me is neils so I hope he wins it all.

Personally, I wondered how you could consider building something to be a geeky task? I guess all the hot construction guys in TV commercials were really just geeks all along? Maybe if they built a Heathkit robot or something. :D

I definitely am not liking this show as much as the other 2 seasons.

Mario and Nadia were the team I liked the best. Nadia seemed to be pretty normal, and she definitely had the "girl next door" thing going. Mario also seemed very genuine, and I thought out of all the remaining people, he still needed the most help. He has very low self-esteem. Neils is okay, but I don't like Jennylee. I do like Nate, but I detest CiCi. I was previously on the fence with Megan, but she really seemed to work hard in this episode.

I don't like Neils. He seems pretty arrogant to me. He's ignored all of Jenny Lee's advice because "he knows better". Dude, you're on the show because you DON'T know better.

He even ignored the advice of the woman in the clothing store because he thought he knew better.

This season's beauties are obviously posers (at least most of which are left). When one questioned what tools were...I mean, c'mon, my 3 year old knows what tools are.

I'm also not sure I believe the romance. Scooter would have been the first choice for a romance, so I'm not quite buying it. If CC wins, I'll puke...ok, no I won't 'cuz I won't care enough to, but I'll wish I could. ;0)

P.S. My (self-proclaimed and proud of it) geek daughter walked in as they got the tool-building task and wondered about that too...definitely NOT a geek task! It would have been just as interesting to see the guys try to work with tools.

That was awesome. Kat, why would scooter be the first choice for a romance? That really surprises me. He hasn't seemed to me like one that girls would like.

From the minute the guys showed up, I said to my hubby that Scooter would be the best looking after the makeover. I think he's actually kinda cute and so far I like his personality best of all the guys (not that they've really shown him as much as some of the others though, so who knows).

I've always gotten the gay vibe from Scooter.
Nate is the funniest guy, which I think makes it believable that he'd be the most likely romance.

rofl, maybe that's why I thought he was the nicest...go figure. See, there's something to this new "Gay, Straight or Taken" show. I never guess right.
