Has anyone used a Wireless "G" router on a series 2 Direct TV Philips 708 Tivo? I picked up the D-link version of the "b" router because it is not available anymore I think it is the DWL-132.
Thanks

Mixed mode, so it transmits both b and g?

That is an adapter, not a router.
The router is what connects to your broadband modem and your wired computers.

And no 'G' wireless adapters work with the DTivos

I have used a Linksys router configured in bridge mode and connected to both SD and HR10 by Netgear FA120 to achieve G speeds.

Except for the Tivo brand wireless G adapter (and it works ONLY with an HR10-250 running 6.3x).

Yes you can do this to get 'G' speeds, but it is still not using a straight 'G' adapter.

You are correct I forgot about that, but since I only have SD units was not at the top of my mind... :p
