I have two Hughes SDVR-80's and a R-10. I just replaced the HD in the R-10 with another 80gig HD using Instant Cake. All is well. I am about to purchase another IC for the Hughes Units. I want to add larger drives to the Hughes.....

My question is (perhaps is was covered here before) what is the largest drive that the Hughes will support....Can I just use Instant Cake to place the image on a larger drive and install it in the Hughes...Can I do the same with the R-10 as far as the large drive is concerned. Is there a step in between that I must perform to get the Tivo to see the larger drives.

Any help is appreciated

Thanks!

As big as you want. Yes, InstantCake should do the right thing, but you should ask in the dvrupgrade.com forum if you want to be sure.
