I dont have it, but I was at a friends who has the 250 and the slingbox and it works like a charm.
His wife gets a little upset when he is on the rd and changes the tv on her from his hotel though:)

It worked fine for me when I was still using the HR10-250.
It works great on my FIOS DVR now too.
The one tricky thing was the original slingbox had SVIDEO inputs, and the HR10-250 won't display simultaneous outputs to SVIDEO and Component video unless you're in 480i mode.
So with the HR10-250 always in 1080i mode for my TV, the slingbox wouldn't see video. But if you send the UP ARROW remote command (via the slingbox software) a few times, it toggles through the resolution. Once it gets to 480i you will see video (until then only audio).
I don't have this problem with the FIOS DVR cuz it'll display all outputs simultaneously - even the HD Channels output to SVIDEO.

It works perfectly. I have never had an issue. It does everything the HR10-250 does (except in 4801 for mine).

Well in my case (I have the plain ole sling box) I have to connect to it and then down-rez until I am on 480i before the vid works via sling sw. Just 2 button presses though

Not only does it work well on the computer, I use it almost every day on my Pocket PC phone. Slingbox was the single reason that caused me to leave Tmobile and go to Sprint.
Being able to now on the fly login to my HR10-250 and record shows, etc. anywhere is invaluable. Actually WATCHING video over the phone is a bit of a novelty versus practical, but, just being able to control the Tivo remotely via my cell is like playing God! I absolutely love it.

Which model to get? There is a HD unit now.
Should I get the PRO, which allows COMPONENT out or just the AV one?
Also I will need it to work wirelessly with my home network. Issues? What type of WiFi thing do I use? My laptop uses a laptop card and my DT a DT card.
Maybe this?

Get the Pro with the HD component cable -- it allows you to keep you HR10-250 in 1080i mode.

I like mine. The only thing you have to remember is that it ONLY works with component cables. No HDMI. The HR10 unhacked can not output to both, so you have to use component. If you are using HDMI to your TV, you will have issues.
