Recording missing

This strange thing has happened three times and it is not like anything I have read about on this forum. The programs are set to record on a season pass, and they appear to be recorded. **The information screen shows a duration of 1:00 hr.** However, when I try to play the recording there is no image and no program length. It is not that there is a recording of black screen for 1 hour, there is just no recording at all. Several programs have recorded successfully since that time. In one instance, I could observe the program being recorded at the proper time (I watched a bit of it, and the record light was on), but later when I tried to access the recording, the above situation occurred. Both of these programs were on CW in successive time slots, but an earlier occurrance was on a different channel. There was no overlap in record times, and recordings of these programs have been successful in the past.

This is not the same as the missed SP recordings (i have that problem also).

There was no signal from the ch you were recording. This could be anything from a wiring problem to the ch not being subscribed.

Normally with a missing signal the information screen will show 0 hours of recording. In this case, the time indicated was correct (1 hr). In addition, as mentioned, I observed one of the recordings in progress and there was a signal.

Not a common problem. If you haven't already, try resetting your Tivo .... disconnect power, wait 30-sec, reconnect power.
